Our Emergency Roadside Services (ERS) department is one of our core business lines and we are looking for a VP, Automotive Services to lead the team. The successful candidate will have a can-do attitude that can balance the direct line to daily operations along with external relationships and overall industry advocacy.

To be seriously considered for this role, please have the following in regard to:

  • Experience: 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in operations, fleet operations, automotive repair, or workforce management, with direct correlation to this role. Experience and progression in leadership roles with proven results
  • Education: Post-Secondary education in Business, Business Operations or combination of experience
  • Skills: A nimble mindset, focused on results, with the ability to drive positive change while creating successful performance-based teams.  
  • Characteristics: Strong business acumen with the ability to create and execute strategies that will advance the strategic trajectory of the company.



As CAA Niagara’s VP, Automotive Services, you will have the strategic responsibility for the successful operation of the entire automotive scope of member services, including Emergency Road Service (Fleet & Contact Centre), Approved Auto Repair and Asset Management & Maintenance. Other details include, but not limited to:

  • Strategic Operation of the ERS business unit including development and implementation of the ERS business plan, communication of strategic initiatives, organizational goals and policies of the department.
  • Oversee budget and full process: Creating annual budget and maintaining stability throughout year
  • Lead Advocacy on Towing Rights, Safety & Compliance in the Region, Province and beyond, where applicable
  • Task Force Representative for the Club on the CAA/AAA Automotive Services Task Forces
  • Build & Maintain Relationships with other regional towing companies, with desired joint agreement of safety and progression for tow operators and community residents.
  • Coach & Manage the ERS management team with the intent to provide advice, guidance, and direction to toward their professional development and success of frontline teams.
  • Quality Standards - Set the bar with associated member clubs when it comes to customer satisfaction results to not only comply with National Quality Standards but become the Associations benchmark
