Who You Are:
To fuel our growth, we are looking for a 14-month maternity leave coverage role to be filled by a self-motivated marketing professional who will play a pivotal role in leading brand and communications in the marketing department. The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit with a love for all things content and creative to bring our brand strategy and content marketing plans to life.
What You'll Be Doing:
Oversee Marketing Coordinator and Copywriter
Direct, manage and evaluate external marketing consultants, including creative agencies, PR and media relations
Provide strategic oversight for development and production of creative content including but not limited to web, email, social, blog or video content with both internal and external resources
Oversee communication strategies and develop appropriate messaging across various channels and integrate consistent brand messaging across all touchpoints in the customer journey.
Support product marketing campaigns and initiatives such as major product launches, as required.
Crisis communications planning and message development.
Support the development of internal communications for the executive team.
Oversee launch and development of top of funnel content channels including but not limited to blog, newsletter and social media, including overseeing strategy and accountability for results of these channels.
Work collaboratively with others members of Marketing and cross-functional teams to develop regular content
Produce and/or oversee producers of video content campaigns for marketing
Manage media lists, and staying on top of regional, national and industry media landscape and having a general pulse on emerging media trends across the nation. Finding, developing, and building positive news stories in partnership with the various departments at Fresh Prep.
Oversee influencer marketing and sponsored content programs, with accountability to program performance and budget.
Act as the contact person for media enquiries and follow up
What We Are Looking For:
Degree or equivalent work experience in marketing, communications, public relations, or journalism.
3-5 years experience managing a team in a high growth company.
Strong writing, copy editing and proofreading skills are essential.
Analytical approach to brand and experienced in demonstrating clear ROI for channel and campaign activities.
Professional, personable and proficient in managing relationships with a variety of colleagues and stakeholders.
