This position is responsible for account management for key growth customers.

Job Duties:

• Manage day-to-day Strategic Customer Relationships & Requirements
• Execute Customer Sales Plans that drive increased Gross Revenue & Gross Margin with accurate sales forecasts and that are aligned to Channel & Corporate Strategy
• Build and maintain a new business development pipeline of opportunities through CRM
• Negotiate customer contracts/agreements
• Performs Pricing/Promotional Scenarios to capture more sales/margin
• Provide sales forecast and forward-looking forecast assumption to supervisor for IBP continuous process looking out 4-24 months
• Monitor & communicates competitors’ products, including relevant sales & marketing data + industry news
• Work closely with Inside Sales Team to help drive sales and promotional plans
• Provide guidance on servicing maintenance accounts with sales targets
• Work with 3rd party sales agents (if applicable) to drive customer sales plans & service levels
• Ability to travel 50%

Qualifications/Skills Required:

• Minimum 5 years of sales experience in a business-to-business sales environment, preferably in a similar industry.
 Proven experience managing key retail accounts such as Menards and Tractor Supply. 
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on account development.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills. 
• Post-secondary degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Proven account management skills required to create and enhance long term customer relationships.
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Must be resident of the U.S. 
• Must have a valid passport with ability to travel to the Canadian Headquarters as required.
