We are looking for a Director of Digital Marketing to join our growing team! This is a full-time position in Toronto. Our ideal candidate has a natural leadership ability and understands how to grow and inspire teammates.
About the Role
As the Director of Digital Marketing you will develop and manage a multi-channel marketing strategy that incorporates marketing automation, digital, social and website channels. Managing a digital marketing team you will deliver successful campaigns for lead generation, nurture and conversion across a variety of channels.
In this broad marketing role you will own the marketing mix but with a strong focus on lead generation activities to drive customer acquisition and the sales funnel. This will include the following areas in both B2B and D2C environments:
Creating and managing targeted email campaigns
Creating automated drip campaigns – customer journey and profiling
Digital and Social Media
Work with digital marketing specialists to develop and oversee the digital and social strategy
Develop SEM and paid digital / social campaigns
Develop and establish comprehensive marketing automation strategy
Website management – multiple brands
Lead execution and improve email marketing campaigns, paid social media campaigns, and paid search campaigns across channels, and formats in coordination with SEO & SEM goals.
Grow and support SEO and SEM initiatives.
Knowledge and understanding of website optimization, landing page optimization, behavioral targeting, web analytics
Continually test, measure and improve
Develop and implement influencer campaigns
Strategic inputs to PIM’s
Digital advertising (corporate and brand)
Product launch campaigns internal and external
You will be an experienced marketing leader with excellent digital marketing skills and expertise around lead generation in digital and direct channels.
You will require:
10+ years strategic marketing experience in B2B and B2C channels
Excellent skills and experience in lead generation/demand generation marketing via direct and online channels
Strong digital marketing, CRM and lead management skills
Experience managing, coaching and developing people and teams
Strong digital marketing skills including website, campaigns, search and social
Excellent stakeholder management and relationship building skills
