Founded in 1957, Joseph Ribkoff is an iconic designer, manufacturer and distributor of fashionable women’s apparel which is designed, sewn and produced in Canada and sold to 64 international markets. They are headquartered in Montreal where 400 of their 500 employees are based.  The Montreal location includes the corporate offices, production and warehouse facilities. 
Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, the Order Management Specialist acts as the main liaison between the sales, allocation and the shipping departments. The incumbent will ensure and maintain a high level of customer service by taking ownership of the handling of orders from receipt to the closure of sales through proactive and preemptive order analysis. The incumbent will also ensure the proper allocation of finished products to fulfill shipments in a timely manner.

  • Overseeing all finished goods have been allocated through the correct channel 
  • Improve strategies and opportunities to maximize the business
  • Analyze and produce various reports 
  • Action all order modification from reports in a timely manner 
  • Review internal processes to improve the delays in shipping of finished goods
  • Responsible for coordinating the re-allocation of finished products
  • Perform the allocation of merchandise in a timely manner to meet logistic requirements
  • Monitor merchandise performance and inventory level
  • Review/ action all pending orders and order maintenance per season
  • Regularly audit outstanding RA’s
  • Update and ensure a follow up on returned goods monthly
  • Review and maintain Major Customer lists 
  • Collaborate closely with various departments; Sales, Marketing, Operations and Warehouse
  • Coordinate orders received through the marketing department to ensure a seamless transaction
  • Communicate frequently with global offices and respond to all requests
  • Coordinating resolutions of issues with internal departments 
  • Service internal departments with various requests
  • Perform customer service tasks related to allocation; Placing/modifying orders, processing returns
  • Oversees and assists in the planning of the physical inventory 
  • Coordinate sample distributions
  • Maintain the flow of merchandise
  • College diploma 
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role 
  • Bilingual (English and French)
  • Experience with Microsoft D365 is considered a strong asset
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of Excel
  • Ability to make key decisions 
  • Detailed oriented and meticulous;
  • Time management; meet deadlines
  • Organizational skills, set priorities
  • Interpersonal skills
