To support the on-going growth of our business, we are currently seeking a highly motivated, energetic, and safety-oriented Maintenance Lead to join our team. This position will be responsible for leading a small maintenance team to perform preventive maintenance, repair and installation of both facility and processing equipment.  The ideal candidate will possess the experience to provide both hands on support with their team as well as support the transition towards a predictable environment capable of job cost control and analysis.  As a recycling company we take pride in getting the most from our equipment and see value in rebuild/reuse strategies as part of the maintenance program.  If you value extending equipment life, then there is an opportunity for you to thrive within our Company!

Key Responsibilities
• Hands on repair and maintenance of equipment
• Resourcing and procurement of supplies, parts, components and equipment
• Identify and take action to improve the safety for staff and equipment
• Develop Millwright/Technical team in both traditional and modern techniques
• Coordinating and prioritizing maintenance and managing cost of maintenance
• Partner with Production on planned maintenance maximizing equipment run time
• Create and maintain spare parts inventory of new and reconditioned components

Education and Experience

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a related role
• Red Seal Certified Millwright preferred but not required
• Master Electrician preferred but not required
