Cinematographer (DP)
Description:
As a key part of our Creative Studio, the successful candidate in this role will work directly with Skip’s Marketing and Design teams to drive stakeholder growth and value through content creation. Filming and editing timelines will have a quick turnaround for each project undertaken. With multiple projects on the go, you’ll be able to make a big impact on Skip’s brand and position in the dynamic and growing marketplace of online food delivery.

What’s On Your Plate:
Shooting and editing video for traditional media and digital distribution channels
Working within Skip’s Creative Studio alongside a host of other teams, executing on video needs related to campaigns, commercial partnerships, and advertising initiatives
Executing on a content strategy for each of Skip’s social media platforms that require video assets (ie- Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, SnapChat, LinkedIn)
Executing on planned content initiatives for each of Skip’s stakeholder groups (ie- Couriers, Restaurants, and Customers)
Managing Skip’s asset library of raw footage, audio, project files, and video exports
Turning around video content with short timelines
Recipe for Success:
Required Experience:
5-10 years’ experience in a Director of Photography or similar role (Cinematographer, Corporate Videographer etc)
Experience in shooting & editing video (advertisements & docu-style production)
Experience operating cine cameras (RED DSMC2 cameras preferred)
Experience in post-production using Adobe CC (Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects)
Experience building, operating, and maintaining production cameras
Experience working on commercial film sets as part of a crew, and working with a Director and Senior Producer to achieve the creative objectives
Understanding and experience with lighting a scene and composing a shot
Experience working with storyboards to execute a creative direction
Well-versed in colour correction and audio mixing
Additional Experience (considered an asset):
Motion graphics experience
Licensed & insured drone pilot
Social media guru
